In the process of organizing my photobucket today. Making catagories and naming files so it will be easier to make requests. I shouldn't say I am. Mindy once again is helping me do this and how can I turn down somebody that wanted to do it. Thanks again Mindy!! I should have everything done tonight at the pace she is going. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause trying to browse for designs.UPDATE: Nearly done with the photobucket. Just need to update the page of designs here on the blog. In the meantime here is the link to my photobucket account:

Okay, after some time to think I have decide on the recommendation of a couple people to start a Facebook page to get the word out. Also like to apologize to those they got into trouble for posting my logo. I didn't realize it would get you banned for showing support. It's been really great to see some of the old members that have requested my designs in the past requesting new designs and some new board members have discovered me as well despite what has happen. Also thinking of checking out Passporters as way to do offer designs as well. Soon as I figure out how to do facebook, I will post that info. Yes, I have to be the last person on the net to have Facebook. Just never had the desire to jump onto that bandwagon despite my whole family having their own profiles. More new designs coming soon as well.
Here's a design I don't think I ever posted before. Unfinished far as personalizing but free to whoever would like to use it. click to enlarge

For some reason or another, a certain Disney board has filtered the name Jordak and won't allow it to be posted. I don't know why they have it out for me but they even removed my logo that links to me. Depressing to say the least.I was removed for talking about censorship, then they decide to finish the job by erasing me for good by censoring my name. Nice! So much for the freedom of speech. After the 10000 thousandth design I have giving out I quit counting. All I ever wanted was a thank you and if you believe in karma, you think I would have some come back in return but now I question that belief. The powers that be on the boards have to be taking it personal as to why I have been removed completely. I had hopes I could go back to the boards because I have made several friends on the boards and enjoyed meeting new people going on their first trips. I am truly hurt right now that they won't even allow others to say I am still designing. Without the boards, I am pretty sure my designing days won't amount to much without them. If somebody is brave enough to ask somebody on the boards, I would be interested to hear why not. Per their rules, I don't have anything that I profit from so you should be able to post a link.

I want to give out a big thanks to two people who have been helping me stay active designing. With out them I would have been forgotten. Disboard users Millie and Mindy. Millie has been kind enough to post a link and added a logo I made to her signature and Mindy has been PM'ing those that have been posting on boards asking for me. Now that I have removed the order form that wasn't working, the requests have started coming. Millie's offer to add a link/logo gave me an idea. I can't post to the boards, but linking to this page is second best. If anybody is willing to help out by adding this logo with a link in their signature on the forums you happen to use, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
Just add this line of info to your signature and it should work for you.

Boy, I feel like the Maytag repairman around here! Miss the interaction with all the people I have made designs for over the last few years. If anybody has some Disboard contacts, would love to be able to post some designs again. In the mean time, I am revisiting some designs I have started and for one reason or another bailed on them. This is one them. Knew I wanted to make a Pumpkin home, but it just wasn't working and couldn't pull it together. Did a radical re-design and this is what I came up with. May revisit this later and finish it but for now I will move on to the next design.

I am fascinated by street art, but much as I would want to try it, I would be the first to get caught. So here is my legal attempt to express myself.

For the first time the other night I was lurking on the Disboards and noticed a request from a fellow Nebraskan for a Husker Mickey head. Mickey heads really aren't my thing because first, everybody does them and second it doesn't take much skill to make. But I am willing to do them on certain occasions and if I can put my "Jordak" spin on them and actually make something rather than pasting clipart and typing a name on them. So if anybody does stumble on to this from the boards, this is for Rebecky from Nebraska.

Since my "departure" from a popular Disney forum, I really haven't had a desire to make any new Disney designs, but this one came to me as I was about to fall asleep. Sad thing is I tend to forget all my ideas when this happens and you would think I would learn to write these ideas down. This happen recently with another design too and I was fortunate to recall it as well.

Welcome to Graphics by Jordak. A few years ago my family and I went on our first Disney cruise and during our preparation for the cruise, we discovered door decorating. I was reluctant to the idea at first of decorating but quickly found out how addicting it can be. For me the addiction is designing the magnets rather than the actually act of placing them on the door. I get way more enjoyment knowing somebody appreciates my work and willingness to display them than for me to hang them on the door. Although having a design of any kind sure makes finding your room a lot easier.
There is a very popular Disney forum where I discovered the addiction of magnets the first time. There was a thread that you could post your magnets to share and this is how I really got started with this type of graphics. I tend to lean more for surreal and dark art but doing Disney/Cruise themes is a nice balance and challenging at the same time. At the time I discovered the magnet thread, it was primarily just two women sharing their work but it was Milliepie who was the person who everybody wanted to get designs from and rightfully so. She has a incredible library of designs she has put together and truly a great designer/artist. She definitely set the bar high for me to want to keep coming up with different designs.
So my style is probably somewhat based on trying to be different from her. So at first I set out to make something simple that I thought would be a good magnet design and surprisingly it became popular as well. It was a basic license plate design like this one that resulted into many requests and my beginning as a Disney magnet designer.
From here I started adding to my own library of designs and started to advance my designs to designs like this with many different characters:
After awhile I was inspired to make a journal which I was very reluctant to post because up until this point, most just wanted the Cute Disney designs. Right away when I posted this design, the requests started rolling in so that pretty much opened the door for me to try all kinds of designs from shadow boxes to working in 3d as of late. Anything that creatively challenges me and my constant yearning to learn
as well.
So my style goes all over the place. Some designs I really loved making and put a lot of time into, but for one reason or another they never took off like I would have thought so I have to be aware how far to push some of my designs. Which is still okay. Ultimately I do this because I just love to make anything and try different styles of art. I go through stages with what interests me. For awhile I made a whole series of minimalists posters with different Disney themes. Those didn't take off but still loved that period of making them.
Then once in awhile I make something that really surprises me how popular it can be. Here is a T-Shirt design where somebody was asking for something where
they can have 15+ names to be part of the design. This idea came to me really quick and how the challenge to figure out how to make it came pretty fast as well. It is probably the simplest to make, but I really am happy to see it requested so much. My goal is to see somebody wearing it in the parks the next time I go.
So here is just a taste of what you can find here. My style goes all over the place but hopefully
you will find something that is reflective in your tastes. As I come up with new magnet designs, I will post them here and will revisit old designs as well. Remember that all my work is free. A thank you is all I ask and show them off proudly!!
